Dr. Kay Collier-McLaughlin special guest speaker at 9/20 Adult Forum

Dr. Kay Collier-McLaughlin, the Deployment Officer for our diocese, will speak after the 10 o'clock service this Sunday, September 20th, at the Adult Forum in the May Room. As the Bishop's  deployment officer, she is the person who assists parishes as they move through staffing changes, including the discernment process leading up to the calling of a new rector.

For her visit this Sunday, she will focus on the upcoming time of transition at Trinity. What should we expect to happen after the Penningtons leave in February? What should be done in the time leading up to their departure?

The Red Door Rally is coming August 30th!

Summer is coming to a close and it's time to start thinking about the new school year.  And that means is also time for Trinity's RED DOOR RALLY!  You've all heard numerous groups stand at the pulpit and make announcements for their group, but you may have wondered how you could get involved.  That's what RED DOOR RALLY is all about.  This annual event will take place on Sunday, August 30th immediately following the 10 am service in the May Room and will give you a chance to learn more about the activities Trinity has to offer and how you can get involved.

If you are a group coordinator, please contact the Nurture Committee (Shannon) to reserve a spot for your group.  This is a great way to inform parish members about your group and how they can get involved.  We want as many of our groups as possible to be represented.  Please let us know by August 25th who will be representing your group.

Thanks for your involvement!

New website launched

On August 30th, 2009 we launched our new website.  This site is the consumation of over a year of work by various members of the nurture commission.  The goal of this new site is to provide a place for Trinity to connect with its members (past, present and future) as well as the community at large.

Much of the content on the old site has been migrated, but if there is something you are missing, just let us know.  In addition to all the information we had before, we have updated information on our groups and activities and information that should be useful for those of you thinking about visting Trinity.

If you have suggestions for our site, please stop by the contact form and let us know.
